The mission of Annals of LGBTQ Public and Population Health is to bring together state-of-the-art scholarship across disciplines, which seeks to enhance the health and well-being of sexual and gender minority (SGM) individuals at the population level with an eye to the intersectional identities that SGM people possess.

We publish quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods studies conceptualized using a biopsychosocial paradigm. We seek state-of-the-art studies that delineate the biomedical, psychological, behavioral, psychosocial, social, and structural drivers of SGM health across the lifespan as well as innovative interventions that function on any of those levels to enhance the health and well-being of the population.

We are interested in papers that advance education, policies, laws, and approaches to enhance SGM care and SGM health.

The Annals of LGBTQ Public and Population Health Journal is funded, in part, by a grant from Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS). BMS supports the overall mission of the Journal; it holds no control or editorial oversight over the Journal, its content, or Springer Publishing, and does not necessarily endorse any specific opinions or conclusions published within.
