Chiron, which has been published since 1971, is one of the most widely disseminated periodicals for ancient history. It publishes academic studies in the field of ancient history in its widest sense, i.e. from the Mycenaean to the Early Byzantine epochs and from the publication of important new discoveries from the area of the basic disciplines to studies on the history and theories of the relevant disciplines.
